Support Technician Entertainment Lighting – Film & Event (Technical Support Specialist)

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our After Sales Support team. This role is ideal for someone looking to expand their technical skills and grow professionally within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support for App and Lights: Provide expert assistance for Astera’s app and lighting products through direct support channels and online platforms such as Facebook, Discord, and Instagram.
- Service and Repair Support: Learn to diagnose and resolve technical issues and assist in creating new spare part lines and documentation as needed.
- Training Support: Build skills to conduct training sessions for distributor technicians, with the potential to grow into an independent trainer for both in-house and on-site sessions.
- Database Maintenance: Manage and update FAQs and technical support entries to aid customers and distributors.
- R&D and Product Development: Participate in testing and provide insights and feedback on new and existing products.
Qualifications:
- Experience in technical support or as a lighting technician in the Entertainment / Film / Event industry.
- Strong communication skills in English, German preferred
- A proactive problem-solver with an eagerness to learn technical details quickly
- Organized, with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn specialized software
